Oslo Golfklubb
Oslo, Norway
"It's been fascinating working with Steve Forrest on our project. He has used tremendous skill to renovate our golf course. When it's finished, it will be amongst the top golf courses in Scandinavia. The way Steve has redesigned holes 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16 — and brought the river, our spectacular waterfall and Bogstad Lake more into play — is just fantastic. Our members, all 2000 of them, are looking forward to playing our 'new'."

The renovation of Oslo Golf Club began with the goal of improving the drainage on this tradition-rich private club in southern Norway. While the playing season was extended for an additional two months due to the state-of-the-art drainage innovations, the course also underwent significant architectural revisions to improve playability, enhance strategy and more effectively display the awesome beauty of the dramatic Scandinavian landscape, complete with a rushing waterfall, a crystal –clear lake and brilliantly gold birch trees in the fall.
