"What impressed me most is that Arthur Hills/Steve Forrest and Associates were able
to take a relatively plain looking golf course that was built in 1924 and transform
it into a modern classic. The course looks as if it has been there for decades.
All of the features and drama are now alive. It exceeded my expectations and those
of the entire membership at Belle Haven. I certainly envisioned how the plan would
make improvements to our course, but I had no idea that the result would be as spectacular
as the one we now have. Belle Haven will no doubt be resurrected as one of the premier
clubs in the greater Washington, D.C. area as a result."
